Our staff At Firelands Chevrolet Buick in Norwalk, OH loves coming up with tips to help our community drive safer. If you have an issue with glare while you were driving, we have a few tips so that your visibility can be a little better.

The first thing you should do is talk to your eye doctor about anti-glare glasses to see if they will work for you and your driving situation. It is also important to make sure that the windows in your vehicle are clean on the inside and the outside. Your windshield should also have newer windshield wipers replaced regularly and always have the washer fluid topped off.

You may also be able to use polarized sunglasses to get rid of some of the glare. If the sun shines directly at your eyes, it could be damaging. So, it is important to look away but still be safe. A good way to do that is to put your hand up to block the sun so that you can see around it or see stoplights.
