The standard 2.7-liter engine allows you to start your drive out the right way. The lineup offers 24 percent more torque than the previous year's model, delivering 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The engine allows you to tow a maximum of 9,500 pounds and comes standard on WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST Double Cab, and LT Trail Boss.

5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8
You can take control of your drive with the more powerful 5.3-liter V8, allowing you to dominate your drive to the best of your ability. The engine makes 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, allowing you to tow up to 11,200 pounds. The Dynamic Fuel Management system improves your fuel economy. It comes standard on RST Crew Cab 2WD, LTZ 2WD, and High Country 2WD. Available on WT 2WD, LT 2WD, RST Double Cab, 2WD, 4x4 LT, RST, LTZ, and High Country with Max Trailering Package.

6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8
A stronger version of the 5.3-liter V8, the 6.2-liter engine puts out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Make short work of tall tasks at the dig site and ensure you have total control of your drive. The lineup's strongest engine manages a maximum towing capacity of 13,400 pounds. This engine is standard on the ZR2 and available on the Custom Trail Boss, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country.

Duramax® 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel
Efficient and hard-working, the Turbo-Diesel engine will give you plenty to work with. The capable engine offers 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, giving you a maximum towing capacity of up to 13,300 pounds. This engine is available on the Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country trims.
